About

We sweat the first hour, so you don't

Vigilince exists because the first look on a loss decides everything that follows — the conditions, the scope, the safety, the claim — and it's the moment with the least time and the most pressure.

What we believe

Restoration is hard, skilled, often unglamorous work done under real pressure. A good first look is the difference between a job that runs clean and one that bleeds margin and trust. We built Vigilince to give every tech — not just the 20-year veteran — the structured comprehension to get that first hour right.

The lines we won't cross

An assistant in this space is only useful if it's trustworthy, so we drew hard boundaries and built the product inside them:

  • Your pricing only. The AI never invents a number. Prices come exclusively from your price book; unmatched items stay blank and clearly marked.
  • Reference, not compliance. Vigilince is standards-aware but makes no compliance claim and never reproduces copyrighted standards. Final judgment is always the professional's, on site.
  • Safety first. Stop-work hazards are surfaced before scope or pricing — the report won't let a hazard hide.
  • Your data is yours. Tenant isolation on every record, append-only history, and your reports remain your work product. And when you invite a client into your branded portal to file a loss, they log in as a separate, isolated account who sees only their own submissions — never your internal data, pricing, or other clients.

Where we stop

Vigilince is a first-look comprehension assistant — not an estimating platform, a dispatch/scheduling tool, or a CRM. On Pro and Business it now also brackets the start of the job: a client you invite can file a First Notice of Loss through your branded portal, and the first look lands in your Incoming-losses inbox before you dispatch a tech. We still stop short of estimating, scheduling, and job management — we'd rather do the start of the job exceptionally well than everything adequately.

Lately we extended the first look to before you arrive. On Pro and Business, you can invite a preferred or pre-loss-agreement client into a branded portal to file a First Notice of Loss with photos. The instant they file, Vigilince runs the free safety scan and base read, and the loss lands in your Incoming-losses inbox as a first look — every filed loss is recorded and never dropped, even when you're out of credits (it queues and releases with one tap). It's built for contractors with longstanding accounts and preferred-vendor relationships.
